Efficient Picking and Packing
By automating your order picking functions, Sage Accpac WMS can help you increase your pick rates and reduce errors and stock adjustments. Pickers receive foolproof order fulfillment instructions from a Web dispatch report or from RF-based handheld devices. Do you need your pickers to easily move through the warehouse in a single pass, processing several orders at a time? Or, do you need a group of pickers to simultaneously pick from multiple zones to fulfill larger orders? Whichever style works for your business, Sage Accpac WMS can help with support for up to a dozen picking options, including product, batch, and zone.
span class="header_1">Swift, Orderly Receiving and Put-Away
Sage Accpac WMS helps you swiftly speed goods from the receiving dock through your warehouse and to their proper locations—while keeping full, accurate track of every step along the way. With Sage Accpac WMS, you can choose to track your received items by serial number, lot number, or expiration date. You can also track all physical characteristics of your received items—such as size, weight, or even whether or not the product is hazardous—thus insuring that your goods are put away according to the rules that you define for your locations.
Precise Order and Inventory Management
With Sage Accpac WMS’s robust inventory management features, you can improve the accuracy of physical inventory counting, ensure products are there when your customers order them, and avoid stocking errors that can leave you with too much or too little product on the shelf. Each time you fulfill an order, your inventory control module is automatically updated. With support for “first in, first out” (FIFO) and “last in, first out” (LIFO) stock rotation, plus a multitude of inventory tracking options, Sage Accpac WMS helps you maintain complete control over your stocked products at all times. What’s more, you can quickly and easily maintain inventory accuracy by performing cycle counting by product, location, or date.
Streamlined Shipping
Sage Accpac WMS systemizes your shipping process so you always know what is going out the door and can give your customers up-to the- minute information about their orders. You can generate bills of lading, packing slips, and carton content labels before your carton is packed—eliminating costly errors in transcribing from the customer order and freeing up warehouse personnel for other jobs. When integrated with multi-carrier shipping systems, Sage Accpac WMS can even shop for the best shipping rate.
RFID Support and Compliance
Doing business with large retailers often requires strict compliance with RFID regulations. Sage Accpac WMS provides a starter-kit for RFID that includes a dedicated EPC printer and labels as well as the ability to recognize RFID labels.
Advanced Features for Large Warehouses
Sage Accpac WMS can meet the needs of larger business customers with these powerful features: n Container check-in – Speed up container unloading time and free up valuable dock doors with this feature, which enables you to tag all the purchase orders and line details expected on an incoming container shipment. As a result, your receivers only have to enter the container tag, rather than each purchase order.
Multi-zone support – Increase picking efficiency and order fulfillment rates by defining up to 26 warehouse “zones” according to your business requirements. For example, you may define a zone for your upper rack levels so that line items in that zone are only assigned to individuals with access to lift trucks.
RF locators – Leverage RF technology to receive accurate, real-time information on the quantity, location, condition, status, and history of any item in your warehouse. Base inventory replenishment on real time item movement and not just location and sales.
Demand forecasting – Generate monthly or periodical forecasts of the products and quantities you can expect to be ordered, using Sage Accpac WMS’s sophisticated analysis of past sales records and basic replenishment and safety stock calculations.
Kitting – Use bin and item information to generate a kitting “map” that takes employees one-way through the warehouse picking up the items needed to fulfill the kit. Automatically generate product numbers to apply to the completed kits.
Return Materials Authorization – Allow customers to return products to the warehouse and generate purchase orders for those returned goods.
