Reporting Wizard: Field Filters

Main Field Filters

rTools Field Filters

In the main field filter window you can select which fields you want to filter and/or include as subtotals in the report.

If you don't see a field that you would like to filter, use the drop down arrow and scroll down to find the desired field. Note that the fields are not listed in alphabetical order, rather they are listed by most to least used. This order is updated the more you use rTools - allowing the most frequently used to rise to the top of the list. This is part of the automatic preference learning technology built into rTools.

To filter a field, click the button under the Filter column. If you need to return to the filtered items you will need to double click.

Selecting a field to be subtotal is only an initial default. Once the report is built, you can easily add or remove subtotaled fields.
